Hot Air Balloon Rides

Explore beautiful Fitzgerald and the surrounding area like you've never seen before and cross "hot air balloon ride" off your bucket list!

Hot air balloonists will be providing untethered early morning (~7:00am Sat) and mid-afternoon (~3:00pm/Fri & Sat) balloon rides with tethered balloon rides throughout the day on Saturday (~10:00am-3:00pm) weather permitting.  You can sign up for both tethered ($10) and untethered ($200/person) balloon rides at the event (look for the balloonist tent).  Or you may book your untethered balloon flight in advance by completing and submitting our advance booking form below.

Tethered - the hot air balloon is attached to a rope and the balloon goes up into the air for 5-10 minutes that holds 4-5 people per ride. 

Untethered - the hot air balloon is not attached to a rope and is an hour long ride that holds 4-5 people also.

There is no age restriction but children must be able to stand on their own to enjoy the ride. 

Balloonist Application

If you are a professional Balloonist and you would like to participate in this year's Harmony Jubilee, please submit a completed Harmony Jubilee Balloonist Application Form along with a copy of your current insurance certificate and deposit by September 6, 2019.  For inquiries, please contact us.

Advance Booking Information

Sunrise (~7:00am) balloon rides will be offered on Saturday (Sept 28).  Mid-afternoon (~3:00pm) balloon rides will be offered on Friday & Saturday (Sept 27 & 28).  Balloon rides last approximately one hour and cost $200/person. 

If you would like to secure your spot for an untethered hot air balloon ride with one of our professional balloonists, please complete and submit the form below.  Be sure to include the day and time you wish to take your flight, as well as the number of people in your party.  A confirmation of your booking will be sent to you via email.  You will pay the pilot on-site when you arrive for your flight.
